Sharing number 42 of the top 50 of burlesque is Cha Cha Velour, the ‘Burlesque Beauty, Tattooed Cutie’!
Since 2006, Cha Cha has delighted Las Vegas with a variety of kitsch and colorful acts, including ‘Teach me Tiger’ – an act performed with a full-sized tiger puppet which won her ‘Best Solo’ at the 2011 Texas Burlesque Festival. In addition, Cha Cha teaches burlesque at her newly opened studio, "Las Vegas Burlesque Classes". Cha Cha also produces what the majority of fans say is by far the best burlesque show in Las Vegas. Live Burlesque in Las Vegas at Boomers bar on the last Saturday of every month.
Locally Cha Cha is known by all as the hardest working person in burlesque, period.
In 2011, in Las Vegas Weekly, she said of burlesque: “I can’t imagine life without it … Burlesque is in every aspect of my life. It’s a sickness I don’t want to be cured of.”
